Building materials returns in York
A wrong-size door, damaged boards or materials ordered for a job that has changed can leave a builder needing a separate return trip. Secure Courier York collects damaged, faulty and wrongly ordered building stock from sites, customer premises and trade branches, then delivers it to the agreed merchant or supplier.
For jobs in Acomb, Poppleton, Clifton Moor and Huntington, send the collection and return postcodes, quantities, dimensions and weights. Tell us about site access and loading arrangements before a collection is confirmed.
Items to include in your enquiry
- Timber, doors and packaged building materials
- Plasterboard and boards requiring a return to the supplier
- Palletised materials, subject to load and access checks
Load suitability, access, collection availability and price are confirmed before the job is booked.
Pallet courier in YorkBefore arranging your collection
Check that the merchant has accepted the return and provide any return reference. Include the weight of the pallet and packaging, and explain whether loading equipment is available at each end.
Photo records and signed proof of delivery document the handover. Your merchant or manufacturer decides whether a return qualifies for a refund, credit or warranty claim; a courier collection does not confirm that decision.
